WEST
BATH - Beth Carlson is pleased to announce she has just been
accepted as an associate member of the prestigious Woman Artists of the West.
In order to be accepted as a member, an artist must
submit many examples of her art for review by a panel of judges.
If accepted, she is considered "an artist holding
impressive credentials represented by dedication and perserverance
as a professional working woman."
The membership is quite varied in |
|
their work, but
overall there is a definite Western theme in the works exhibited
at WAOW exhibits.
An artist doesn't have to live in the West in order
to be considered.
Beth's oil paintings are hung in private homes and
galleries across the country.
She is known best for her animals in landscapes,
portraiture of dogs and horses, and her Sporting Art.
Beth works out of her studio here where her style
of painting is considered that of English realism with a taste
of French impressionism. |
