In the relatively short time
that Carlson has been painting, her work has gained such notoriety
to have graced the covers of a plethora of publications including:
Grays Sporting Journal, The Field Trial Magazine, The Pointing
Dog Journal, The Chronicle of the Horse, The American Brittany magazine
and The Charleston Mercury. She is an associate member of Women Artists
of the West and Oil Painters of America
She is best known for her
sporting dog portraits in landscapes. Two of her paintings are
now in permanent possession of The Brittany Hall of Fame in the Bird Dog
